First Mural at OHCO

OHCO honored the artwork of "Despertando del sueño americano" (Waking from the American Dream), a Latino Mural Project in collaboration with muralist, Ariel Peguero, as one of the first Latino heritage artworks in Columbus at the Ohio Hispanic Coalition's Main Office location.

The mural incorporated concepts of family unity, immigration, and historical hardships Latinos have and are currently facing living in the U.S. Amidst the struggles, the art reflects on the shared goal of  "life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness."
